Our Impact

Proud B Corp since 2023

At BitesWeLove, being a B Corp is not just a certification. It is a way of holding ourselves accountable for the business we are building, the snacks we make and the role we want to play in everyday food culture.

We became a certified B Corp in 2023 because we believe business should be built with more in mind. More responsibility. More transparency. More care for people and planet. And in our case, more from snacks themselves.

Because snacks are part of real life. They show up between meetings, on school runs, on trains, during long workdays and in the little moments when people need something that feels good. We believe those moments deserve better.

Better taste. Better nourishment. Better everyday choices.

Changing the role snacks play

We want to improve everyday health and wellbeing by changing the role snacks play in people’s lives.

At BitesWeLove, we believe cravings are natural. They are part of how we move through our days, how we look for energy, comfort, taste and small moments of joy.

The problem is not the craving. The problem is a food culture that too often meets those moments with snacks that deliver less. Less nourishment. Less balance. Less long term value.

Our role is to create a better alternative: snacks worth craving. Snacks that satisfy in the moment and support wellbeing over time.

That means bringing together desire and permission. The flavour, texture and enjoyment people genuinely crave, with the nourishment, ingredients and trust that help them feel good choosing it.

What we make: snacks that give more

For us, impact starts with the product.

We create snacks that are designed to give more back to everyday moments. More flavour. More texture. More nourishment. More satisfaction.

That does not mean turning snacks into something clinical or joyless. It means respecting the fact that people want both: something that tastes good and something that feels like a confident choice.

This is why we keep developing products that combine crave worthy taste with nutritional value, from fibre and protein to ingredients that fit better into real life routines.

We want better snacking to feel easy, enjoyable and accessible. Not like a compromise.

Building a healthier snack culture

Changing the role of snacks does not happen through products alone. It also means taking part in the wider conversations that shape what better food choices look like.

That is why we work with initiatives, partners and industry groups that help move the food system in a better direction.

Supporting healthier environments

BitesWeLove has been actively involved with JOGG, Jongeren op Gezond Gewicht, for more than five years.

JOGG works to make the environments around children and young people healthier. For us, this is closely connected to our belief that better choices should be easier to make in everyday life.

Our contribution includes joining conversations, attending events and proactively developing products that can better fit the ambitions behind healthier schools, canteens and everyday snack environments.

It is a practical way for us to stay close to the real world of snacking, especially in the places where habits are formed.

Improving the category from within

We also take part in the NAPV, the Nationale Aanpak Productverbetering. This initiative from the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport focuses on improving the food offer in the Netherlands.

The aim is simple and important: less salt, sugar and saturated fat in processed foods, and more fibre where possible.

BitesWeLove participates in the NAPV working group for grain, muesli and energy bars. Together with parties including RIVM, supermarkets and industry organisations, we contribute to concrete agreements for product improvement within the category.

This is a natural place for us to be. We already develop our products from this direction: snacks should not only taste good, they should give more.

AmplifyHer: backing more diverse voices

BitesWeLove was founded by a woman. That shapes the way we look at entrepreneurship, leadership and the world around us.

For several years, we have supported AmplifyHer, an initiative that connects female entrepreneurs and professionals and gives them a platform.

We support AmplifyHer because we believe more diverse voices lead to better outcomes. In business, in leadership and beyond.

For us, this is not separate from our purpose. It is part of the kind of company we want to build: one that makes space for different perspectives, stronger networks and more inclusive growth.

Climate Action Plan

Our Climate Action Plan sets out how we are working to better understand and reduce our environmental impact across ingredients, production, packaging, transport and daily operations.

Since 2021, we have measured and compensated our CO₂e footprint across Scope 1, 2 and 3. As BitesWeLove grows, our aim is to grow responsibly: making sure emissions do not increase faster than revenue, while working to reduce the CO₂e impact per product sold over time.

From 2026 to 2030, our focus is on better product level insight, more responsible sourcing, packaging improvement, lower emission final transport and more conscious business mobility

How we hold ourselves accountable

Alongside the initiatives we take part in and the products we create, we also have clear internal principles that guide how we work.

That means being transparent about our purpose, our external engagement and the standards we expect across our business relationships.

Lobbying policy

We believe brands can play a constructive role in shaping a better food system, but only when they act with integrity, transparency and responsibility.

At BitesWeLove, our lobbying activities must be purpose led, fact based and focused on collective progress rather than individual gain.

Our full Lobbying Policy explains how we approach external engagement, where we draw the line and how oversight is managed within the business.

People and human rights

We are committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights across our business and the way we work with others.

Our approach is informed by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work

This includes respect for dignity and equality, freedom from discrimination, fair and safe working conditions, freedom of association and collective bargaining, and the elimination of forced labour and child labour.

We aim to reflect these principles in our policies, our workplace practices and the standards we expect from our business relationships.

Still learning. Still improving.

Being a B Corp does not mean we are finished. It means we have made a commitment to keep improving.

For BitesWeLove, that commitment lives in the snacks we make, the partnerships we choose, the standards we set and the role we want to play in everyday wellbeing.

We are proud to be a B Corp since 2023.
And we are even more focused on what comes next.
